### Access to healthcare

Only with valid insurance can you easily see doctors, get treatment, and use the German healthcare system without upfront payments whenever you need it.

### It's mandatory by law

Health insurance is required by law in Germany. Without it, you can't register, work, study, or get a residence permit to stay in the country.
